How to get to know your bike?

We relocated to my cousins to Edinburgh to dismantle our tandem into pieces. Literally – our tandem is now lying in Jiří’s workshop on the floor in groups of screws, nuts, chains, etc. But on the other hand it seems that all is working and if we manage to put it together today then it will work just fine. No it will work better than fine.

We have learnt a lot yesterday about our bike – seems that taking things apart really is the best way to learn about them especially if you have someone like Jiří around to say how to put it back into working order (and how it works) . I have really enjoyed cleaning all the chain rings and it is now all (almost) like new. We are now about to head off to the city centre to have a look around and cup of coffee in yet another of our favourite cafes and then later in the afternoon back to the work.

Has it reminded you of something? Have you remembered something? Have we forgotten about something? Any advices for us? Or you just feel like saying hi or have a word of support? Yes please!
